No, I was using a LTS release previously, and just as 13.10 was released, the latest version of mythTV 0.27 started crashing
XWindows when the front end would run.
Assuming the developers were making MythTV for the latest version I correctly assumed that MythTV would start working again when
I upgraded Ubuntu. I therefore did not have to make a bug report for a version of Ubuntu the developers no longer care about.
Upgrading also broke the checklogin script I use to have my computer shut down when idle, I no longer get wall paper displayed
on my screen, and it broke skype, but in less than 24 hours I have found workarounds for everything but the wall paper.
