[mythtv-users] 0.27 Problem: Mythcontext - Backend is online

Hello List,

since upgrading to 0.27, I see an appearent problem from the backend.
Sometimes, quite often, while being in the recorded programs list, I see
a large message box popping up with a green checkmark "mythcontext:
backend is online". In the list of recorded programs, one program is
then marked with a cross (like not recorded), and then, marked "ok"
again, intermittantly. When I am in the problematic state, I also get
this message popup when I then watch any recording, quite annoying.

This happens on all frontends, but not always. I do not know, what this
is related to, maybe to certain recordings which cause hick-ups. The
recording files are all there, the hard disks are healthy, all
recordings work and never fail, also the ones myth is complaining about,
they also can be watched (not when there is the "not recorded" mark on
the recording, though.)

It happened right after the upgrade, but in the meantime, I had several
more upgrades, did fsck on the drives, rebooted.... I do not think it's
the hardware.

When I leave the recorded programs screen, while I have the problem that
screen will disappear and blend to 50%, while at 50% I already see the
main menu, and then the frontend freezes for a random amount of time, I
guess until the recording is seen again, and then everything goes on as
usual.

I have never noticed this problem before upgrading to 0.27, not with
0.26 or any other version - that might be because it is new or because
before, it did not get visible (no mythcontext message), I do not know.

I have some information from the logs at the bottom - maybe not deep
enough, anybody who can help let me know what part of the logging I have
to increase. You can see there where two backends showing the same
error at that moment.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Matthias
