[mythtv-users] chopped up recordings when selecting "Record Any" instead of "Record Once"?

Sounds like bad listings data (possibly even listings data that breaks 
up the one show into multiple parts).

Are you saying these are valid duplicates?  See 
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Duplicate_matching , specifically, and note 
the Program ID section.  I'd guess they're actually /not/ duplicates 
(meaning not properly marked as duplicates).

Well that would only ever record the one showing you've selected (and 
miss any other parts/any other showings), so yeah, the above couldn't 
happen with a one-off recording rule.
