My mythbuntu default behavior is to have separate logs.
That said, I rather prefer it that way, just in case I botch a script,
cause processes to call each other, etc, I'll see one log going fruity
and occasionally, one log will give a hint.
Just an old, old habit that has served me well over the years.
As for the log renaming automatically, didn't really notice if it used a
logrotate scheme or renamed on restart. Unless I get a new kernel, I
tend to leave the BE stay up.
