[mythtv-users] Lossless Transcoding problems - Is it solvable or are there other options ?

I’ve been running the patch at http://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/11639 (expand the attachments thingie) and it has fixed the lost initial audio issue for me. I do a lot of lossless transcoding so I’d say the patch has had a reasonable workout. Many of my transcodes are also sent through handbrake and it seems happy with the output too.

The patch is worth a review should anyone with commit access be listening.
