I would wait for .27 if you use mythtranscode a lot.  I have two 
problems when cutting commercials.  First is the one with the silence at 
the beginning.  Second is that about half of the resulting files then 
cause handbrake to fail on the encoding for the iPad.  Handbrake just 
hangs at the start.

I use the RPMFusion rpms.  I have been waiting for .27 to come out and 
see if the issues are fixed.  It has been a long year with .26 with all 
of the mythtranscode issues.
