I would suggest that you download the myth* SRPMs from here:

http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/updates/testing/18/SRPMS/

and simply rpmbuild --rebuild them if you want to stick with f17; but 
that reached EoL several months ago.  You should be able to apply 
personal tweaks if you want to.

Binary packages for F18+ are now available from RPMfusiion.
