OS: Ubuntu 13.10 X86_64

Since the upgrade I get frequent 0-byte recordings with the HDPVR/ I have
replaced it with a new one it did not help. I have switched USB ports also
with no help.

I get the following in the backend log file.

Is this a bug in ubuntu/kernel or 0.27. If it is Is there any workaround.

Thanks for any help
