[mythtv-users] Poll took an unusually long time

HI!

Every now and then, I get this message in mythbackend log:
Poll took an unusually long time Xms

Sometimes, X is a few 1000, then I only have a glitch in the recording.

Other times, this message appears at the end of the recording and X is
very high and the recording really stopped somewhere in the middle.

There are the things I know about this:
- it happens with kernel 3.7 and 3.8
- it happens on 3 different machines (slow and fast CPUs)
- it happens with 3 different DVB cards and drivers
- it happens with or without EIT scan enabled
- it did not happen with 0.23 (using 0.26 now)
- the 2nd case (aborted) only happened with HD recordings

Any hints how I can try to find the cause and fix this?
