[mythtv-users] using telnet to improve mythtv menus

I realize this is an old thread, but I love this idea, and am 90% through
implementing this myself. Something like:

Watch Recordings:
---- New TV (jump playbackrecordings)
---- Old TV (jump video + keypresses to right folder)

Now if I could only do this without having to resort to the telnet
interface.
