This happens on 1080i mpeg2 video recordings from DVB or firewire.
On recordings that I have transcoded from mpeg2 to H264 mkv files, there
is a slightly different symptom. Jump forward sometimes causes the
playback to jump backwards 5 or 10 minutes. This also never happened
before. This seems to only affect transcoded 720p recordings. Transcoded
1080p recordings seem to be OK.
I have not tried rebuilding the seektable. However it is happening on
new recordings that were made after the upgrade, so if some seektable
algorithm changed, at least I would expect the new recordings should be
correct.
