[mythtv-users] Frontend problem on new Macbook Air

The key error I believe is this:

Your backend and mysql database are too old and need upgrading.

this process won't work from the mac frontend for the time being. You
need to upgrade your backend to 0.26 and run mythtv-setup there and
let it upgrade the database.

Only then will you be able to have a 0.26 frontend working.

Why it doesn't display on the mac, you would need to start it with the
Qt rendering to display the error screen.. Which unfortunately isn't
possible to be overridden..
