[mythtv-users] backend always hangs on specific recording

OK, so if your problem is the same as mine, upgrading to 0.26 should
make mythbackend exit instead of lock up, and then you can have it
automatically restarted as Mythbuntu 12.04 does and recordings will be
(re)started as soon as mythbackend is running again.

My deadlocks were happening typically in more complex recording
situations than you are describing - I would have one or two
recordings already in progress and at least two new recordings
starting at the same time.  But like you, I also had many, many
occasions where I had similar numbers and types of recordings
occurring where the deadlock did not happen, including situations more
complex than where it occurred.  But when the deadlocks were
happening, if the recording schedule did not change next week, they
would happen again at the same time.  I have never been able to figure
out just what particular combination of conditions is needed to
trigger the problem.
