And this is where you he needs to look to ensure the desired traffic 
will flow!
Ive had a myth frontend running on different subnets working before 
(including via Openvpn).  This was in 0.23 days though.

I had issues with pfSense firewall systems in the past, unable to get 
some services to work as they should, replacing pfsense with Endian or 
OpenWRT soon solved the problems.
