To answer both repsponses:

1. Yes the frontend, and backend are on two different subnets.
Running openvpn with a proprietary algorithm to speed it up.

2. The uplink is on a gigE connection. Same with the frontend. So
bandwidth is not the issue.

Hi all,

I am presently having an issue with getting mythtv to run on a
different subnet. The current configuration is that the myth system
resides on the 10.1.11.xxx subnet, and openvpn runs 10.1.12.xxx. I am
using pfsense as the firewall and openvpn server. Having issues getting
the channels to stream. Actually they just won't stream at all. No
matter what frontend I use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
