Tim,

You could do this already.  Each release is tagged in github.  It could be
easily built and deployed to your phone/tablet.

It might also be possible to mark the existing Google Play entry for the
app to only work on certain versions of android. Then add a separate one
for newer versions going forward.

However, I would really need to branch the codebase to have a development
branch for that old version in case other bugs come up that need to be
addressed.  Managing all that is beyond the time I/we have at this point in
time.
