Thanks John , I went into Appearance and was able to adjust the screen
size. I couldn't get rid of the Unity bar and noticed that some of the
mythtv screen is hidden by the Unity bar. When i reduce the height it takes
it off the bottom, making some desktop wallpaper visible and continuing to
hide the top of the mythtv display.
