I guess I didn't make myself clear, as directed earlier in the thread I
went to the software center and installed CompizConfig, and then 1) Under
CompizConfig Settings Manager, go to "Utility"
2) Go to "Work arounds"
3) Check "Legacy Full Screen" support.
which was supposed to allow playback without the unity interface. Any idea
why I still have unity displayed?
