You can down/upgrade the firmware to any version as long as you do not
use their GUI.  The command line `hdhomerun_config XXXX upgrade ...`
will throw any version you have on them.  I rolled back to the
hdhomerun_atsc_firmware_20110925a.bin version not too long ago after
the artifacts I see on 2013 versions.
