It this strictly correct?
MythTV can filter out (not record) MHEG-5 data stream.
It filters at the beginning of input stream for keyframes by dumping
packets. (is consistently losing 3 video frames in the process).

V4l (or mythtv) must be able to filter streams based on PID for tuners
without PID filters.
