Fair enough, and all valid reasons. I think the directions you've been
given are good ones, make sure you have a backup of the database on a
different drive, and preferably on an external drive (USB key would be
good), and disconnect your recordings drive temporarily. Do the MythBuntu
install, make sure that it removes existing partitions, install, and then
do the import and setup. I'm sure there are lots of guides out there to do
it, aside from what's been posted, so I won't elaborate on that, and good
