[mythtv-users] Trouble with Installation

Thanks. I actually went to the website  that Bryan and Mellissa suggested and downloaded Myth control panel from which I installed from the Mythbuntu repositories and system updates. Unfortunately I am still having the same problem with the Backend Setup; but here is the thing,
I have managed to get to the setup pages on two occasions now. Every other time it just hangs at the terminal (which is inactive by the way). There seems to be a bug. I've tried deleting and reloading Myth Backend but no satisfaction. I need to get back in there to make some adjustments so I guess I'll just have to keep trying  until it opens. Thanks again.

... or stay with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS* and install the Mythbuntu repository,
if you want a more stable and longer supported system ...

Since version 12.04, Mythbuntu uses only LTS versions too.
