If memory serves, 1299 is the schema for 0.25. 1307 is for 0.26.

The commit on the third line from the bottom in the 0.26 release notes
supports that. http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Release_Notes_-_0.26

At this point, I'd suggest putting the full output of your mythtv-setup
logs in a pastebin and putting a link to it here.

     mythtv-setup --logpath /tmp
     pastebinit /tmp/mythtv-setup.2012021........log

When you stopped your backend, did you verify that it actually stopped?
I'm asking because there have been reports of it not stopping, especially
if its recording at the time. ps ax | grep mythbackend | grep -v grep
would prove it.
