Mythtv 0.26 uses UTC (Greenwich Mean Time) for all times in the database
now.  It sounds like you have a time zone issue.  Check out this page:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/MySQL_Time_Zone_Tables

You may have already done this, as it seems that that step was required to
get mythtv-setup and myththbackend to start after the upgrade.  Perhaps
your system time zone is configured incorrectly?

I hope that helps.  I think it will start you headed in the right
direction, anyway.
