The hard part (likely impossible) is going to be getting the current
frequency/multiplex id of the tuner connected to the HD-PVR.  If your cable
box has a serial, usb, or firewire port, you may be able to get the
information that way?

I know that before I had this script, it would only take me an hour or so
to tune each available QAM channel and determine what channel it
corresponded to in my digital cable line up.  I would just tune a QAM
channel, look for obvious indications of what channel (logo, show), if that
didn't work I would simply scan the likely channels on my cable box or HDHR
prime until I found a match.  Once I found a match, I would duplicate the
channel number, name, XMLTVID, and callsign on the QAM channel using
mythweb.  Wasn't a fun hour, but it wasn't difficult.
