LOL! As soon as I saw the post of someone having difficulties, I quietly
nipped off to check my database backups.
Didn't run anything on my secondary BE, set it up for giggles anyway.

Wondering though, any reason to prohibit a secondary BE from backing up
the primary FE database? The DB itself should take care of locking, so
I'm rather curious.
