No idea if there have been recent changes, but there's a very long list 
of keys-during-playback in frontend > setup > edit keys.  Perhaps you 
had them edited in your earlier setup, and now have the defaults?

I've just removed 'End', or maybe it was 'Home' from my editing keys 
because they are too close to  PageUp/PageDown on the keyboard and could 
lose the cutlist instead of skipping.
