I just updated my 'SL6' laptop to kernel 3.10.25-1.el6.elrepoNONPAE.i686
and my PCTV nanostick T2 290e is working again.

It didn't work with 3.10.22, 3.10.23, 3.10.24.  The 3.12.x series, which 
was also affected, is probably fixed too.
