The point being that if you're using Schedules Direct, but you also
enable EIT on the same channels, you will get exactly the symptoms you
describe. You can only enable one listings source--Schedules Direct,
XMLTV, or EIT--per channel, otherwise the differing sources step over
each others' data.
Oh, and the symptoms are most likely to appear on the public broadcast
stations, too, because they're the ones most likely to actually have any
kind of EIT data embedded (whereas many other for-profit stations in the
US (not sure about Canada or Mexico) will have only the bare minimum
requirement, which is "now" and "next" data).
