As I wrote, it's an issue with grid-like theme.

As when you scroll you end up with something like:

name1 name2 name3 name_folder name4

when you move from name3 to name_folder, the whole content position is
recalculated and go back to being like:

name_folder A B C
D E F

etc...

To me, if you want to speed up scrolling in the list, making it
scrollable from top to bottom isn't the solution: that's what
shortcuts are for. Like pressing 2 gets you to A, 3 gets you to D, 4
gets you to G etc...
