Those errors suggest that your HDHR is doing something... trying to
decode an mpeg stream of some sort.  Any chance you have EIT enabled?
Perhaps it's constantly trying to pull EIT data and failing?

I've never used EIT, so I cannot comment on exactly how the HDHR
should behave, however I would think you would see a tuner in use even
if your not recording anything?
