[mythtv-users] Fwd: problems

New with Linux and I figure I need some help

Just built my first HTPC it operates as both the frontend and backend.

It consists of
GA-H77N-WIFI
Samsung 840 SSD
16 G Ram
3T HD
Intel 3220
HVR-2500

looking to connect to my
Onkyo 515  and sharp LE-60LE745U

has a few more things like the case and DVD drive

I am running the latest version of Myth .26 on a Mythbuntu distro

After much pain several installs I was able to get my HVR card to work and
push decode the video.

As far as I can tell I have these two problems

I have two HDMI outs according to the documentation I should send 1 to the
TV and a 2 to the receiver.  However I get no audio.  Looked in the Bios
and get not find any setting.

All the recording go to the SSD when I want them to go to the 3T HD.  How
do I change that.  Another issue is that I plug in my external 2TB  drive
and I cannot find them in any myth.  I am sure I need to map this but
cannot figure out how that is done with all the /..../.. commands

windows was easier even if I hated them

at wits end and the wife is going to toss everything if do not get this
running
