The sources are there, regardless of whether you get to use
their "easier to use" installers.  You can download and
compile for your distro (or get your distro maintainers(*) to
do it for you if you need/want that).

(*) Or, perhaps, volunteer to be a package maintainer for
the latest package.  That helps everyone on your distro.
