Hmm, any attempt to create a complete list would pretty much by
definition be incomplete considering how many Linux distributions are
out there.  At one time I'd, without a seconds hesitation, recommend
that a better plan would be to tell people to run "locate mc.sql" and be
done with it.  With the deprecation of most tools used from the command
line by many distros these days I'm not so sure.  Don't most at least
include a notice telling you how to enable the creation of the update
database if you try running a locate command?
