This often implies that you are running mythfilldatabase
under a different userids at different times (and unix
file permissions caught you).  As there are lots of
files that can get modified/changed, it is always a
best practice to always run all the MythTV processes
using your dedicated <mythtv> userid (and never as
root, or your other local logins).  If one is appropriately
disciplined to do so, one avoids lots of these issues.

I seem to recall that there is a patch (ticket #11195)
to use a different approach to fix this.  Targeted for
0.27 according to trac.
