I've seen the same thing. I sent a sample recording to one of the devs in IRC (Hi, Beirdo!) but I'm still experiencing the issue. If you search the archive of mythtv-users you'll see a "Me too" a few weeks ago, so it's affecting more than just you. I just don't have the chops to track it down myself.
