[mythtv-users] Performance MySQL on RAM

Interesting article on the wiki. I noticed that in my MythBuntu setup
there are files in /etc/mysql/conf.d/ called mythtv.cnf &
mythtv-tweaks.cnf. These seem to use different settings from what's in
the wiki. What's the general view here - go with the MythBuntu configs
or what's in the wiki?

Also, does anyone know if the settings in files in /etc/mysql/conf.d/
override any duplicate settings in /etc/mysql/my.cnf?
