Same here - this device has 1gig of RAM and *can* run Ubuntu....have a 
look at the specs and google it a bit. From what I see, the "turnkey" 
part will be:

* Flash SDCard with ubuntu
* Insert SDCard
* Boot device
* apt-get install mythfrontend
* Connect to backend
* Done
