[mythtv-users] mythfrontend troubleshooting help needed

Hi.

I just did a system update on my two mythboxes.  The combined
backend/frontend seems to have gone smoothly and everything appears to be
working.  The remote frontend is another story.  Everything except
mythfrontend appears to function fine.

Symptoms:
Extremely slow response on computer after starting mythfrontend.  Most
people would say it, "locked up", but it is running, just responding slow.
The hard drive is continuing to be hit every second or so.  This did not
use to happen.

Attempt at troubleshooting:
I ssh'ed in an crashed mythfrontend with killall mythfrontend.real
I opened a terminal window and ran mythfrontend from there
Once the frontend started I tried to switch back to the terminal window
Since the computer (for all practical purposes) is not responding I crashed
it again from ssh
