Agh,

But, couldn't I first do a lossless transcode (not sure how to do one, 
but I've heard of it) to get rid of the commercials, then run it to the 
mythexport program...assuming I could get it working?

Off topic, but Integrating exporting recordings directly into myth would 
be the best new feature I could think of...especially with the explosion 
of smartphones and tablets out there. I would be willing to bet that 
half of the myth community could use this type of feature.
