I've alternated between both because of focus issues with external 
programs. I'm currently back on fluxbox.  There are a few options that 
need to be set in fluxbox to make it behave just right.  I don't have 
access to my box at the moment.  Might not for a while, just thought 
that it might be worth you looking into fluxbox again.  I'm sure I read 
a howto somewhere on how to configure fluxbox for mythtv. Sorry for the 
lack of detail, at work and all that.
