[mythtv-users] Dish Network gets sued over limited commercial skipping ability of it's DVR

Not surprising to me...Im not sure its copy infringement but if I were a
station I would not like this at all...Once potential advertisers see that
every one auto skips the ads they have to reason to give Fox $$ for the
Ads.  So they wont put ads on.  Then Fox with be forced to cut costs or
charge more.


Its one thing for consumers to set this up..aka MythTV but when I provider
gives all the tools, preconfigured to skip all the commercials it seems to
cross the line.
