>/ This has been a problem for a few months now and I spent a few hours today
/>/ trying to fix it with no luck. I place ripped movies into a /video1/movies
/>/ directory on my master backend however when I try to scan to add the movies
/>/ into the database I keep getting a failure when I scan for changes. The
/>/ failure states that it can not find the SG hosts. I have checked my backend
/>/ storage directories and they point to the correct location but it appears
/>/ that the scan can not find the host at all. I have firewalls and selinux
/>/ turned off. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have conflicting directories set up in your frontend setup?

Permissions/ownership?

I do not have any conflicting directories set up that I can tell. Where would
you recommend I look for that? Also it returns back almost immediately with
the failure and the logs appear to state that it can not find the server names
that have the directories on them. I have placed every name it is looking for
in the log into my DNS settings but still no luck.
