[mythtv-users] Sync live tweets to recording playback

Hi Mike,

This is a great idea, unfortunately you're going to come across a
problem I like to call "its 3am in Tibet at least once a day" and
basically the problem means how do you identify what epidode of Friends
you are watching versus what episode someone in Tibet is watching.

If there are enough people interested I'd like to float the idea of
setting up a separate email list to discuss social media and mythtv (or
a google group if the myth admins prefer us not to operate on their
server); either way anyone interested in this shoot me an email

I floated a suggestion about how we could integrate mythtv recordings
into accessing the www.LiveFanChat.com platform in real time so you
could chat to other mythtv users while watching one of the 14 sports
events that they provide live chats for eg http://www.LiveNascarChat.com
http://www.LiveF1chat.com http://www.LiveBaseballChat.com etc etc but it
never really went anywhere a year ago. Possibly now that second screen
is more prevalent there would be more people interested in working on
something like this now.
