[mythtv-users] Linux 3.3 is out, does latest HD-PVR firmware work now?

According to the Myth HD-PVR wiki page the issue(s) preventing Myth from working with firmware versions greater than 1.5 have been patched in the 3.3.x kernel series.  I'm running Fedora 16, which is on 3.3 now... has anyone tried the latest firmware (1.7.1.30059) out yet?  Live TV issues remain 2+ years on, and the newer firmware seems to include fixes for those if they work.
