[mythtv-users] Some questions about the new MythMusic (0.25)

Ok, I'll admit it. I've been using it for a while now and I haven't been
able to figure out how to use it correctly. Here's a couple of things I'm
hoping someone can clarify for me...

First, in the old version of MythMusic, there were keybindings for
changing the shuffle mode and repeat mode. These no longer work in 0.25
and I can't find replacements for them in the "Edit Keys" section. Have
these been removed? The only way I've found to change these now are
through the menu.

Second... ok, when I upgraded and restarted, MythMusic started up playing
what was the Active Play List from the previous version. This is fine.
I've found my other playlists. OK.

But if I want to just listen to an album... I just can't figure out how to
do that. I figure I have to go into the playlist editor but I can't find a
Create New Playlist. Also, a lot of the time I want to just listen to a
single track, and then go back to the playlist. Do I have to create a
playlist for just that one track?

In previous versions I'd just turn off shuffle, hit left till I got to the
All My Music option and find the album/track. Piece of cake to do with a
remote. In the new one, I just can't figure it out.

It's also REALLY hard to find specific tracks. Yes, there's a search.
But, again, I don't have a keyboard. It's extremely cumbersome to use a
remote control to type things on a keyboard. Scrolling through an
alphabetical list was a breeze.

And with the new version, once I find the track I want... I have no idea
how to tell it "Ok, play this track now". I can add it to the current
playlist, but I don't want that. I just want it to play that track.

Can I do any of these things in the new MythMusic? Am I just missing
something? Are the keybindings all different and I just need to find them
and bind them to the remote control?... help?...
