If I accessed mythweb with my phone then I got the mobile display and it stupidly remembered that setting when I next tried to access it from work on a full-sized browser. The only way to reset that was to do some complex session resetting magic. I stopped using mythweb. Things may have improved since then.
IIRC, I vaguely remember running into this issue and I discovered
mythweb "remembers" the mobile vs. desktop setting in the session info
which is somehow tied to the authentication data you used to log in
with. If you use a different username/password on the desktop system
vs. the phone, the sessions do not conflict.
