Updated from 0.24.2 to MythTV Version : v0.25pre from ATrpms on SL6.

mythtv-0.25-280_v0.25_beta_55_g814e880.el6.i686.rpm

All my usual things seem usable after a wiki-supported change to my 
tarball-based Project-X installation that was needed to get DVD creation 
working.  I had been expecting a longer struggle here :-)

I've successfully used 'Create Archive' and rsync to transfer recordings 
to my production box running 0.24-fixes, but the Log Viewer window that 
is shown during the creation process remains blank throughout;  the 
'process.log' file remains at 0 bytes and I haven't found it anywhere 
else.  There is no indication on-screen that anything is happening, but 
the disc is busy and the files are created.

The log viewer works as normal during DVD creation, and the mythburn.log 
file in the same log folder isn't affected by 'Create Archive' task.

I tried an 'Import Archive' too  (in 0.25*), but after the log viewer 
appeared nothing happened; I had deleted the recording but had not 
removed all traces of it from the DB using 'Previously Recorded'.

Finally I tried to optimise the DB and got this:  I haven't yet tried 
any of the suggestions.  Maybe needs a different thread.

Other points:  Complains about locale settings, but that's before they 
are read from XML.
