Well, when I was trying to watch a 45s clip, YouTube actually gave me a 
15min and a few seconds ad from a certain US Republican Presidential 
candidate.  When I saw the length of the ad, I decided I had to watch 
enough of it to actually see who it was for.  It was >3 1/2 minutes 
before they actually said something specific enough that I was able to tell.

They do let you "Skip this ad" (requires mouse), but since I was using a 
normal desktop in front of the TV and not doing it through 
MythNetvision, I was able to skip it.  (Just wish I could have skipped 
/in/ it to find out who it was for rather than letting it play for 3 
1/2min to figure that part out.)

Of course, most tend to be reasonable ads.  And, if you get a 15min one 
in MNV, you can always exit the playback and try again and you'll 
probably get a shorter ad.  :)
