No; playback is set to use the Standard decoder and quartz-blit
renderer, my usual settings. On my 2008 Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro,
Standard/quartz-blit on 0.24 gives me fine playback with both MPEG2
(40-50% usage on Activity Monitor) and 1280x720 MPEG4
(70-80%). VDA/OpenGL's never worked right for me, either giving me a
black screen (as they do now) or poor-quality playback with higher CPU
usage (as in the past), but again I haven't changed my Mac settings in
a long time.
